The
Microsoft Corporation has announced that they will be launching a mapping service, called MSN Virtual Earth, early this summer. People are thinking just how much difference this Microsoft service has from its competitors, and the company has a shitload of features not to be found on the other service providers. The advantages of the MSN Virtual Earth? Well, first, it houses tons of information on an area, such as the restaurants, moviehouses, laundry shops, etc. within its limits. It's absolutely free for Microsoft.net subscribers, and it has all this crapload of reviews, ratings, etc. on the areas it can access. Think of it as another step towards the ubiquitous society that I think Microsoft plans on pushing forward in the near future.
