Digital technology has certainly grown to be among the prime innovations of the century. Through the continuous development of this technology, we now have options in which to make our lives easier and more convenient. For instance,
handheld digital devices can now pinpoint the user's exact location on the planet, not to mention provide the user with mobile communications and information accessing capabilities. Another thing is that it is now used to provide our science buffs with enough information on the state of the planet, such as the problems with the ozone.
Yes,
satellite technology is now used to map the areas in which pollutants originate, along with the most affected areas of pollution. Scandinavian scientists are now using US satellite technology to map the most polluted areas of Europe. With this, they have found out that the highest emissions of the most active pollutants known to the world in Europe are from the cities Ruhr, Rotterdam, and Antwerp. This type of information is very important because it would provide our Dutch scientist friends more information on how to deal with the problem of pollution. Plus, the project is also being planned to provide similar information to all areas on the planet. I do hope it reaches us soon, for I would like to know whether I live in the most polluted city, or among the most polluting ones!
Nowadays, or about a decade ago and still counting, it is pretty hard for us to actually predict the weather wherever we are on the planet. Yes, this is true even if we have the latest satellite technology. This may probably be because of the actual ozo
